Each stick measures 8.5 inches long and uses strong aluminum tubing with molded ends for reliable performance in marine conditions. This pair is intended for use on most 150hp and larger outboards that use exposed trim rams. They slide over the rams to create a solid brace between the motor and bracket, giving you a low-profile alternative to bulky transom saver bars. The durable construction stands up well to repeated use in both salt and fresh water, and many boaters rely on this style of support for everyday towing and longer highway runs. For best results, verify trim-ram length and clearances on your engine and follow the manufacturers instructions. On Yamaha models with a grease fitting on the port-side ram, a single Motor Stik should be used on the starboard ram only. These sticks are not compatible with 2024 Mercury outboards. Install before trailering, remove before launching, and you have a simple way to help protect your outboard investment.
