All pieces are .925 sterling silver as the base metal. Silver pieces are triple plated with rhodium. Rhodium is more expensive, durable and valuable than gold or silver. Currently it cost $10k/oz as opposed to $100/oz for gold and $18/oz for silver (prices fluctuate daily). Gold pieces are triple plated in 14k gold.
