This compressed carbon plate is not only beautiful it is also incredibly strong allowing it to be thinner than the original FoilMount. This setup weighs just over 1lb so it is also about 30% lighter than previous models. The new curved shape along with it's light weight and thinner profile make it incredibly low drag in the water. You cannot tell there is a track mounted on the bottom of your board while using it without a hydrofoil. We have also upgraded the included hardware. Each FoilMount 3.0 Carbon includes a set of 4 Wizardhat hardware and they will allow you to attach any hydrofoil on the market to your FoilMount.
