The PF30 standard has revolutionized mountain bike design. Our CeramicSpeed PF30 Shimano MTB Bottom Bracket enables you to use Shimano and other 24mm spindle cranks on your PF30 MTB. Our PF30 cups, with extended sleeves and a central section, minimize creaking and enhance system reliability. Available in Standard and Coated versions, both feature super smooth CeramicSpeed Balls and hardened-steel races. The CeramicSpeed Coated Bearings offer an additional 3-micron thick metallic layer over the races, making them harder, smoother, and increasing their lifespan while reducing drag. The CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings, with 0.3-0.4 watts of frictional drag per set, provide a 75% drag reduction compared to stock bottom brackets. This is achieved through excellent design, including hardened-steel races and CeramicSpeed Balls that are 100% smoother and 15% harder than competitors. They also boast extended longevity. For even longer life and lower drag, opt for the CeramicSpeed Coated Bearings, which increase life by 60% and reduce drag by 50%. Performance can be fine-tuned by changing the grease. LongLife Grease is pre-installed, but can be swapped for lower-drag All Round Grease for reduced drag and cleaner riding conditions.
