The 3T Mercurio 40 LTD rear road wheel, a medium-low profile tubular race wheel, featuring the Stealth Black finish-- UD Carbon with Gloss Black decals. Deploying the full range of new generation 3T technologies, the Mercurio 40 LTD tubular race wheel is ultra-light, allowing the wheel to spin up quickly, roll fast and brake hard in wet or dry conditions. The all carbon fiber rim is 43mm deep and 23mm wide with spoke pockets molded in the sidewall to hold the non-nipple end of the straight Sapim CX -Ray spokes. Putting the nipples at the hub end cuts inertia at the rim so the wheel accelerates faster. The hub features the 3T Multisys freehub, allowing Campagnolo 10/11 speed, Shimano 10/11 speed, and SRAM cassettes to be used without replacing the freehub body. Includes brake pads for carbon fiber rims made by SwissStop for 3T, and a titanium 3T quick release skewer.
